Terms of Use

1. General

This app offers registered users the opportunity to publish their own articles, questions, answers, comments and events as well as add actions and receive points for them. Use of the app requires compliance with these terms of use. In case of violations, we reserve the right to block or delete user accounts. By registering, a free user agreement is concluded between the user and the operator. There is no entitlement to registration or permanent use of the platform. The user can delete their account at any time without giving reasons. The operator can terminate the user agreement with a notice period of 2 weeks from receipt of the termination declaration in text form (e.g. by e-mail). The right to extraordinary termination for good cause (§ 314 BGB) remains unaffected. All content must be related to climate protection. When uploading content, the copyrights of third parties must be observed. No content may be uploaded for which the corresponding usage rights are not available. By uploading content, the user grants the operator a temporally, spatially and content-wise unlimited, free, simple right of use to the content. This includes in particular the right to storage, reproduction, publication, public accessibility, editing, use within the framework of the app and related offers as well as technical adaptation within the framework of the platform. A transfer to third parties only takes place to the extent that this is necessary for providing the platform. Copyright remains with the respective user. If users are not yet of legal age, they may only use the app if a person with parental authority has consented to the validity of these terms of use. By using the app, users confirm that they are authorized to do so. Content and images must not violate applicable law in the Federal Republic of Germany. Prohibited are in particular criminal content, racist, anti-Semitic, discriminatory, pornographic or glorifying violence content as well as content that violates the rights of third parties. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. For merchants as well as for users without general jurisdiction in Germany, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the operator. For better readability, the masculine form is used; it applies equally to all genders.

Reports are checked. The operator decides on measures at its discretion. There is no entitlement to a specific measure. However, unfounded reporting of other users also constitutes a violation of the terms of use and can be sanctioned accordingly. Measures are taken taking into account the severity, frequency and degree of culpability of the violation as well as observing proportionality.

Liability for User Content

For content created and published by users, the respective user is solely responsible. The operator does not adopt these contents. The operator is not obliged to check content posted by users in advance. Upon knowledge of legal violations, the corresponding content is checked immediately and, if necessary, removed.
